When Lauren called me and told me in her South African accent that she and her other South African fiancé were getting married on his parent's sheep farm in KY, I was so thrilled! I think I counted the days till their wedding. : ) What ensued was a very family oriented, laid-back, farm wedding. Guests travelled from all over to get there; it was such a beautiful event. I had a bit of time before the ceremony, so I captured a lot of the "feel" of Alex home. The blog is heavy on bride & groom shots, which I love. : ) Enjoy!

Due to the change in the time table, we weren't able to get a bunch of shots of just Lauren until after and I'm so glad we waited! the light was gorgeous and in just a few minutes, we captured some great ones of her.
Friends traveling far and wide...
Lauren made her own cake - Wow! This is gorgeous...I loved her blush and violet themes.
Oh my goodness! these dogs were the cutest. I think this one is smiling at me.
I just had to post a photo of the selection of meat for dinner - lamb specifically chosen from the farm, where the wedding was. I tasted it and it was so heavenly. I just wanted sit and be a guest and forget taking photos that very minute.
I'm so glad we caught this! Lauren happened to be over by the pond when I was snapping a night shot and we got these. Love them!
Toasts brought a lot of laughs. Lauren's dad was hilarious!
